You got me. I didn't see the original thread. But obviously it was
adequate for them to rid themselves of you. Given the outcome, it's
clear _they_ thought it was extreme. Which is what I said in the first
place.

Seems to me like you've mentioned boycotting more than one other company
on the SLUG list. If pressed, I could do a search through the digests
for examples.

I surely hope you don't imagine I'm beholden to you for defending me.

If you deserve defending, I'll be glad to do it. But if you deserve to
be taken down a notch or two, I volunteer (though Russ is far more
skillful than I could ever be). I'm an equal opportunity poster.

I don't recall the original source of that thread, so you could be
right. No matter. Point stands.

You know, you sound like you're threatening me. Let's see-- what's the
worst you could do? Turn all the SLUG members against me and cause them
to vote me out as president? Wooo. I could walk away from this group
tomorrow, satisfied in the knowledge that I did the best I could for a
few years. I don't do this for the money, the fame or the women. And if
I didn't have to be president, I'm sure I could find puhlenty to do with
my time. So give it your best shot.

Paul
