Hmmm... Mainly? Been there, done that. Have multiple T-shirts to show for it.
Mainly, I'd consider it a waste of material, since I don't really have any use
for either the support service, the manuals, or even the bundled apps. (Open
Source is pretty much the way I go, anyway.)
Why force a distribution manufacturer to incur expense for what I'm perfectly
capable of getting myself?
If someone who's already been using Linux for a while wants to support a
distribution maker, wouldn't it make more sense to save them the expense of a
would-be-unused box set and just send them the money directly in the form of a
contribution?
