Well, I'm not at all sure if this is the type of information you're looking
for... My desktop/gateway box is running Red Hat 6.0, heavily modified with
updated packages from Mandrake (kernel, XFree86, Gnome, openssh, gcc... you get
the idea). That box is running a 2.2.17 pre-release instead of 2.2.19, but
given the following, I'm sure you'll see why:
Linux haven 2.2.17-0.9mdk #1 Wed Jul 12 00:11:36 CEST 2000 i586 unknown
2:38am up 269 days, 2:54, 2 users, load average: 1.02, 1.05, 1.00
Linux 2.2.17-0.9mdk (chmou@kenobi) (gcc 2.95.3 19991030 ) #1 [haven]
Bootup: Tue Jul 25 23:44:01 2000 Load average: 1.00 1.01 1.00 3/52 20902
I'm running a customized build of 2.2.19 on my laptop, info as follows:
Linux hackbox 2.2.19-2mdk #1 Wed Mar 28 17:28:22 EST 2001 i686 unknown
2:53am up 22 days, 11:38, 2 users, load average: 1.28, 1.20, 1.18
(Note that the uptime clock stops when the system is in hibernation or standby
mode, so it's actually been longer than that since I rebooted... probably
because I'd killed the battery.)
Hope that answers your question.
