Maybe I missed something but last time I checked you don't need any special
powers to create a channel on IRC.. all you have to do is log on to a server
and go to a channel name that does not already exist... poof you have a
channel???? And what exactly is his motivation for insisting that we all
flock to this server/channel? .... It just all seems very strange to me...
