[SLUG] Xircom CM-56 PCMCIA Modem Linux Compatibility?

Any chance that the Xircom model CM-56 pcmcia modem the same as
the Motorola SM-56?

Someone has 5 of them for sale and I am trying to chase down info. as to
Linux compatibility. I don't know if they are winmodems, linmodems, or
real modems!
