I agree, but RMS knows very well what he's doing by insisting on this. I
understand the need to be given credit for your work, after all, without him
there would be no Linux or GNU to be given the name GNU/Linux. I applaud his
efforts in this regard and thank him from the bottom of my heart. But, if he
won't talk because we won't change our already established name, then let him
be a big baby about it. We'll get someone else if he can't be flexible.
If I made a distro I would call it 'GNU/Linux' (as I consider 'Linux' to be
the system's short name), but I wouldn't change the name later if it were
already called something else. A rose by any other name...
