[SLUG] html email from command line

Well, here I am again,, back to the well,,;o)

I need to be able to send email from the command line ( ie: from a script)
and have that email be html format. I know (or believe I know) that
sendmail cannot do this,,.,

I will be creating a script that sends email to thousands of recipients on a
list. I want the email to includes text and .jpeg or .gif images.

Is there an MTA that will do this in Linux??
