I did run alsaconf and walked through the install process, but there were
some errors as it loaded and more messages to use ver. 5.
How do I search for the alsa files you listed? I tried the Gnome file
manager
without much success.
Ran /lib/modules/2.2.18/misc/sb.o got a bunch of error messages about
unresolved symbols.
