[SLUG] Sony Laptop

Anyone have any experience or knowledge of installing Linux on a Sony
VAIO PCG-FX215 laption (800Mhz Duron). I checked the linux on laptops
site and only found one (discouraging) entry for a FX170K.

Also any recommendations on an available 15" laptop under $1300(or so)
that runs Linux are appreciated.
