Dont know about the previous post but I am using a linksys BEFSR41 and have
used it both on the cable and the dsl line---no probs( I have gtr/verision
for both ) and last I saw it was on sale for 90+ but this one is a 4
port---might be cheaper now though and the 2 port is way cheaper
hope this helps---I might add that the support is really great---I used the
800# and not only got a reply but the guy was helpfull/knowlegable so its
worth the price if for nothing then the support is excellent. The manual
that comes with it is good and the browser interface works well and the built
in firewall works great and is very configurable
