Maybe because the *easiest* way to do this is to set up a network,
either with real network cards or via PPP over a serial link. And
barring that, buying a ZIP drive is probably the next simplest
solution. If you don't have the interest or desire to do the easy way,
and don't want to spring for the ZIP drive, you'll *have* to do the hard
way, like write a special program that has "laplink" like functionality
and works over the serial or parallel port....
