test 4 means that it is going through the 4th test, not the 4th pass of 
tests...
Memtest86 does find lots of errors, but it doesn't find everything. Partly 
because of the nature of memtest86. I had 160 MB of FPRAM which memtest86 
never found a problem with. Yet my machine would lock up repeatedly during 
gcc operations. I ended up replacing all the RAM, yet memtest86 didn't find 
anything wrong with the ram at all...
just a heads up.
