Anyone have any suggestions on hardware/software for a webcam? I've been
poking around and most of the solutions I'm seeing are looking a bit
trouble-prone. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places. I'm looking for
something that uses USB, and I want to run it on a Mandrake 8.1 box. I saw
that Phillips had binary Linux support, and they were looking about as
Linux-friendly as anyone gets, but I thought I'd see what the SLUGs had to
say before I put money on the counter.
