[SLUG] Elx Wont Install :-(

Hey All

I'm bummed out. I tried installing elx on a couple of machines and I cannot
get X to work on my laptop. I checked the XFree log and it says "hsync out
of range" for all modes. I've tried all sorts of options for display and I
even tried creating a custom display. Nothing seems to work. However, I
reinstalled Mandrake 8.1 and it works great. I don't get it. I'm not sure
what to do.. Any ideas?
