webmin and pine.) Outlook clients just can seem to retrieve it. Thanks for

Make sure you actually have a POP/IMAP client installed and configured.
Sendmail isn't a POP/IMAP server, only SMTP. You'll usually install
some package called (strangely enough) something like "imapd" or "popd"
or similar. Check /etc/inetd.conf and make sure it has an entry for
"imap" or "pop" depending on which you are using.
