My Samba server has developed a problem...
When connecting (Mapping a Drive) from a Windows 2000 Pro machine, I get the
following popup error:
The mapped network drive could not be created because the following error has
occurred: The semaphore timeout period has expired.
When connecting (Mapping a Drive) from a Mindows NT 4 machine, the
authentication is very slow but eventually authenticates and following
connections are normal.
I don't have any problem mapping to other Windows boxes so this seems to be
limited to only my Samba box.
I am running RedHat 7.1 with Samba-2.0.10-2. No changes have been made to
this machine over last several weeks and I connect to it daily. All boxes a
are on my home network behind another RedHat 7.1 router with IPTables.
Any help would be great appreciated! Thank you, Glenn.
