Unfortunately, we were not able to use room 684, and had to use a
different room. This one didn't have a clear view of that area in front
of the elevators. By a certain point, the meeting had already started,
and no one was willing to miss the meeting and go stand out to make sure
late arrivers could get in.
I understand there were several people in this situation. The security
people don't really know what's going on with our meetings, so they're
not really helpful. I apologize for the mix-up. However, because of
security at PwC (that is, you can't just walk right in), this type of
thing could happen at any time. The best solution is to get to the
meeting when it starts. If you have some prior commitment that will make
you late, you might want to let Tom Ufer know ahead of time, so he can
make arrangements.
