The following response is from SuSE when I asked them about their licensing
requirements for their products
"If you preload SuSE, you need to have 1 box per system. If the customer is
installing SuSE, they only need to have one copy of the SuSE Linux 8.0.
YOu can find the YaST license here:
/usr/share/doc/packages/yast/COPYRIGHT.english
In summary, you are not allowed to redistribute SuSE linux, on your own media
(either CDROM or preinstalled on a system) for a fee without prior written
permission from SuSE.
