IIRC, there is a postgres user, and you have to sign in as that user at some
point...but I think the biggest contribution I can make is this URL:

But I'm going through the docs and they aren't that helpful. Perhaps if you
asked on the Postgresql mailing list? (Warning: that list is fairly high
traffic!)
