Oh boy. It's better than that:

Power disconnected from drive
No tape in drive

Sorry to have bothered 'yall with an "empty gas tank" problem. A simple
lesson I won't forget and a couple of commands to boot.

I'll look in man mt for info on how to use it but do you guys have a quick
and dirty set of commands that would back up, say, /home/jmc?
