There is no Wireless setup tool in Red Hat 7.3 -- there turned
out to be undocumented variants 6 months ago, and it was
yanked for a re-write. For example: ...
The Linksys cards are either Prism chipset which CAN be set up
manually in the RH 7.x series, or the other -- from memory,
but I may be wrong, Intersil -- do not trust this- I am away
from my notes.
The next Red Hat beta '(null)' will detect and install every
variant card in my collection which does not have proprietary
drivers -- the USB Linksys WUSB11 v.2,5 is NOT supported, the
v.2.5 IS ... for example.
The DLink 2582 v. 1.3 is not, the v , 2.1 is ... for anohter
example.
It is a snake's nest mix of proprietary and Open variants; the
exact models are not marked on the boxes, and the state of
sireless networking is like NIC drivers 6 years ago -- a real
mess.
Good luck.
