[SLUG] Comments on partitions

I checked my harddisk partitions with cfdisk and found that
hda1 /boot is a primary partition
hda5 swap is a logical partition
hda6 /home is a logical partition
hda7 / is a logical partition

Is one primary and three logical partitions unusual?
I could not find an extended partition.
