Umm, no I never logout. No need. Worst case is someone comes in and
steals the computer. But when they shut it off, they'll still have to
come up with a password to restart unless they know to put a _Linux_
floppy in the drive and go into single user mode. Otherwise, only my
wife and I have access. And even if they hacked it, there's not much of
any consequence to anyone else on them.

You're worried about the _power_ they consume? Umm, it ain't that much.
You might be paying $5 a month for that power, maybe. Put an Amprobe on
one sometime, and you'll see what I mean. The debate about turning off
electronics versus leaving them on has raged for decades, and no one's
come up with the definitive answer. But my choice is to leave them on
and pay for the power.
