Ok, didn't have any luck with copying from the Terminal Window, but was able
to save it to a txt file. With using this email as a reference, the fist
command you mentioned for me to type in is the first response, the second is
the second paragraph etc..

Hey, welcome to GNU/Linux.
It would be helpful if you posted your error logs. As root, view the
file /var/log/messages and send its relevant contents to the list.
You can do this by opening a terminal window (any terminal emulator
such as xterm). I'm assuming you boot straight into KDE. So after you
boot in KDE, open a terminal window and do this :
[the # below represents the prompt. Don't type the #]
# su
now enter the password for root, which you set at installation.
# tail -f /var/log/messages
now copy and paste that output by selecting it with the mouse and then
middle-clicking it into your mail program.
# less /var/log/XFree86.0.log
copy/paste that also to your email. I wonder if KDE has an error log
of its own? I wonder if you can pipe its error/messages to a file? If
anyone on the list doesn't know this, I guess I could look it up
myself...
The best place to answer your question would be redhat.com . Search
their knowledgebase, it's great. Also, if you bought 7.3 recently, you
have 30 days of free email tech support _if_ you register your product,
so do that. I had to use their tech support recently; they respond
within a day or 2, it's nice.
Man, it's great that everything ('cept sound) is working for you out of
the box. Linux keeps getting easier!
