I have kernel-smp-2.4.9-31.i586.rpm from redhat. I need to recompile
the kernel to include extended memory above 4GB. Do I need to download
the kernel-source-2.4.9-31.i586.rpm to do this? Is the smp kernel just
a recompiled kernel with the smp flag set? And isn't that something I
can do myself from the source?
