I hope someone can help me with this.
I'm using Mandrake 8.2 on my laptop and have been syncing my palm
throuh the usb port using a usb to serial converter for some time.

Over the weekend I got a new palm that has a usb connection and I
can't seem to get the usb port on the laptop to recognize it.

What do I need to do to make the usb port on the laptop work like
a usb port and actually see the palm.
