[SLUG] Getting around a bios password

I was able to puck up two HP Vectra VL Series4 machines super cheap, but
when I got them home and went to install it seems they both have a bios
password. The guy at the store I got them from didn't know the pass and
I have tried removing the bios battery in hopes it would drop the memore
- it didn't. Is there any other trick I can try to either bypass ot
remove the password?
