A valid point. Getting a volunteer to devote every Saturday
morning for ten weeks is hard (or impossible) to do.
However, SLUG works very well, as is. People probably don't
want to touch it, and I think it needs to be no-charge. I was
thinking about a sequence like this:
People from SLUG have discussions about opportunities, etc. As
a result of these discussions, three people decide to supplement
their income by teaming up, offering REGULAR, for-a-fee,
lessons.
It's important to realize that whatever comes out of this
hypothetical SLUG discussion group, it CAN NOT be connected with
SLUG when they start executing whatever-it-is. It has to STAND
ON ITS OWN. But, the point I'm making is that SLUG might be a
forum for incubation, and a resource to draw on.
I don't know how closely that fits with what you were thinking.
When you attend the classes, I'd be most interested in your
observations!
