 Just ran appfinder and it did add a bunch of entries. Learned a little there.
learning is easier when there is help.
It didnt add all the entries but did add quite a few. I guess the only way to
have the debian entries is to install with kde then remove kde and upgrade to
the newer kde3.1. Seems like the longer way but the results are worth the
effort I guess.
Just a note to anyone doing a debian install and not doing it with kde but
choosing to install kde later, not installing kde initally will have the
effect of eliminating all the debian menu entries so it is worth the effort
to install and then remove and upgrade.
