3) Next/final, dmesg - toward the bottom there's a line that says "lp:
driver loaded but no devices found" that seems to be the only directly
relevant one. Based on my tiny knowledge, I wonder if this isn't an
ACPI-based problem, especially since ACPI is recent in Linux and has
