I bought a Lindows one from Walmart some time ago, and wrote a review
for some of my wife's cohorts that Robin also ran at Newsforge. I wiped
Lindows and installed Debian. Runs fine, no problems per se.

There are a couple of cautions. First, it was a Mini-ITX form factor.
That means it's got a teeny fan and very small power supply. Only one
expansion slot, which has a WinModem in it. No adding of components to
_this_ system. Second thing is that pretty much everything is embedded
on the motherboard, including the sound and video. The video uses what
I'm told is a crappy chipset, the Trident Cyberblade i/1. There's
support for it under Linux, but it's still not a great chipset. I've had
no problems with it.
