Hi Everybody!
I asked about this last time, and the reply was, yes, we can do an install
at the meeting.
I have a P II 400 Gateway notebook with 192 meg, DVD drive, floppy, net
card and Winmodem. I will get about 6 Gig open for the Linux partitions. I
have a Lexmark Z 32 printer that I can bring along also.
My ISP is really, really slow 26.4, downloading *anything* is out of the
question. I will bring the thing to the meeting. If we can get a working
Linux distro onto it, this would be really cool. I'm not fussy about the
flavor, whatever you guys are using is fine. I really want a distro that
has drivers for the (%$&% Winmodem, %$)($! so if someone has a distro that
can do that - joy!
