You don't necessarily need the realplayer plugin for your browser (it just 
embeds the player in your web page you are viewing as opposed to putting it 
in its own window).   The stand-alone realplayer app works better anyway in 
my opinion.  Just make sure you have the realplayer RPM intalled for RH 8.0 
(should be in your install CDs), then configure your file types in either 
Gnome or KDE or what have you so that audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugin is handled 
by realplayer, giving it the path to your executable.  You may also need to 
specifically tell your browser that audio/x-pn-realaudio-plugins are handled 
by realplayer as well as telling your Desktop Manager.  Which browser are you 
using with RH 8?
