Really!?
Buy invites to have an email account!
For almost as long as as I can almost remember, I've had my own same email
account. And I have as many as I want at any time. I've never been in a need
for a new account. Nor did the free ones ever interest me, I just never saw
the point. But there it is, hugely popular. Now I find it interesting to see
how valuable a gmail account apparently is to people.
