I use a Zire21 with Linux (usb sync). I had so-so success with
Evolution, and no success with a RedCarpet-fetched copy of Ximian
Evolution. The program that works best for me is J-Pilot. It does
straightforward synchronization, with very few frills. J-Pilot is not a
nice desktop app to keep your calendar and work in, but it syncs all of
the major conduits. If anyone has a more integrated way of doing working
with a Palm, please step up.
