What did you use to shrink the partition? I assume it was NTFS, or was
it VFAT?

I want to do the same thing here on this Toshiba, but it is a company
machine so do not want to screw it up, but sure would like to have
Linux on it for when I get board out of my skull from looking and windoz
funnies. Also give me a place to run Star Office or Open office and
Evolution in stead of MS office and Nolook... Look ma no viri or other
MS sickies... B-]
