No, the CDs in the book won't be copy-protected, and yes, you'll all get
copies before Prentice Hall gets this into stores in November.

*Actually, I'm sure a lot of people - including some of you - who know
perfectly well how to get the CDs & book content for free will spring
for copies as Christmas gifts so you can "give the gift of Linux" in a
nice, neat package with a kewl cover instead of home-made CDs and
copied-from-the-Web documentation.
