Not that a bootloader is high tech, but THEY don't understand it...

Most likely it will. You have more HD space that I do, but a slower CPU
and less RAM (Thinkpad T40). What does "lspci" say?

You might want to wait until my laptop is back from IBM (unrelated USB
port problem). They were right snappy getting the shipping box to me
(called on Tuesday, box was here on Wednesday), so I can only hope the
rest of the service goes as fast.
