This is not true. There are 51 s*bscr*bers to the politics list. And
topics do occasionally end up there. The amount of content on the
politics list is entirely dependent on its subscribers.

Thank you, Bryan, for not contributing further to this.

This is precisely why there is a politics list. Any time you bring
politics (or religion) in, someone will get aggravated, upset, or
irritated. It pretty much doesn't matter how you do it or in what
context, humorous or otherwise.

There are people who delight in getting a rise out of others. They say
things to provoke. And then they apparently, from my experience, have
one or more of the following reactions to those offended:

1) They look askance at them.

2) They think themselves superior.

3) They think such people should get a life.

4) They laugh at them.

People like this are rude on purpose. They think so little of themselves
that they feel the need to create opportunities to belittle others.

"Wardriving" vs "peacedriving" is a mildly humorous joke. But when you
start mentioning current candidates for election, it's guaranteed that
you're going to provoke ire or disgust one way or another. Never fails
to happen. So why bring it up in the first place, unless your intent is
purposely to provoke?

Feel free to s*bscr*be to the politics list. There are no such
limitations there.

Paul
