Why not on-list? Certainly it would be _better_ than the political BS,
serious or not.

They won't. They can't. Until IT managers wake up to the fact that
they are only investing their company's time, money and resources into
Host formats and solutions, and that is _mutually_exclusive_ with the
primary goal of an IT department -- mitigating risk -- they will go on
quite ignorant and make the same, hurtful decisions on behalf of their
own entity.

Fortunately for my employers and clients since the mid-'90s, I have
successfully argued against such moves time and time again.

P.S. Seriously, several of you need to stop with the jabs. It's
insulting to my intelligence. If I want one-dimensional thinking, I'll
listen to the media, or join any well-known socialist party. As someone
who advocates Freedomware solutions in a capitalist society, please show
some intelligence. Don't break it down to socialistic tendencies and
say you're just laughing at the establishment. Okay comrade?
