Greattings All,
I am an intermeidate/beginner Linux user. I am completely self taught and
have installed about every distro you can name (Gentoo, Debian (and
variants), Slackware (and variants), Mandrake, Red Hat, Fedora, Suse, etc)
and my 2 PCs (one IBM 300PL and an Athlon 2400 system I built myself). I
can do a fair amount of things from the command line (edit files, file
management). To get to the point, I want to come to a meeting but feel
that I would be overwhlemed with technical jargon and be shunned. Maybe I
am being stupid/irrational but the fear exists none the less. Don't get
me wrong, I read plenty and try to grow my understanding of things but my
job is nontechnical and my skills seem to outpace our computer folks at
work to a certain degree. What can I expect at a meeting? Will I be
lost? Thanks for any and all comments and/or suggestions.
Thanks again,
Justin
