For those in Polk County who are interested in Linux, the monthly Linux
Meetup in Lakeland is tonight, 8 - 10, at Birch Tree Coffee on
Cleveland Heights at Hallam Rd., next to Cleary's Garden Center (look
for the gas station on the corner). Birch Tree is a nice family-owned
coffee shop and café ideal for smaller groups such as our little one.
There's usually a pair playing guitar and mandolin on the "stage"
Tuesday nights, which makes for an interesting atmosphere. Usually we
shoot the breeze and try out various distros. Birch Tree has free
wi-fi connectivity.
