In there defense of my host, Mono is on very shakey ground. Every
article says that Mono is going to die. We are talking about a
reverse engineered product.
Also who cares if microsoft gets sued. It happens everyday

I went out and I did put mono on my new linux box and while the app to
putting the files on the server it still not really what I wanted. I
ended up just coding a small text based no graphical interface php
script with a postgres backend to keep track of the files.
