I use MailMan to serve a mailing list, and it is pretty much the same
functionality as Majordomo, but much more user-friendly (web-based
control) and it supports HTML and attachments.

One of the options is to add a footer to outgoing e-mail. If the
orginal e-mail is HTML format, though, it will simply attach it as a
separate text file. if the original is plain text it'll tack it onto
the end. It will put a footer on by default indicating the web
address for end-users to control their subscriptions.
