Alien will not work for this project. As the scripts ask you which os
you are using as the it inits distro specific build scripts to make it
work. So while alien would turn the rpms into debs, the problem is the
build scripts that tie all the stuff together and does all the automatic
stuff for you are tied to a specific distrobution. I really hate when
stuff like this happens.
