Since were all baring our souls, and I was criticized for running a
Windblows box, I'll tell you what I run. I built a box to run OpenBSD
3.7 for a firewall. I also built a box to run Suse 8.2 and finally I
built a box to run Windblows XP Pro. If Adobe would ever port Photoshop
over to i386 platform this Windblows box would go up for sale in a
heartbeat.
I also plan to spend over $3,000 to purchase a Mac on which to run
Photoshop. The only OS I find to be a PITA is Mickey$oft. The others
require a lot of time configuring, compiling and other assorted task but
if left alone, will run and that's more than I can say for the crap from
Redmond.
