Which does not require any setting up on most distro's. Just use it.
scp for copy between two computers regardless whether or not you are on one of
them. ssh to "telnet".
Copy a directory and preserve attributes
scp options directory user@computer:directory
scp -pr mymusic pete@10.10.2.1: <-got to have the :
Swap those parameters around any way you need to. Very mature s/w.
