The question for me balances out differently; I understand and
accept that not using hardware or a closed driver or an
operating system from a company that will not release its
sources means I will not have so fast a frame rate, or
whatever the 'latest and greatest' gimcrack is .... but
neither will I feed a company that will not participate in
feeding the community they would sell to.
No nVidia, no Microsoft, no Novell closed addons, no Red Hat
up2date. Compromise on the small things, and soon, there may
be no Freedom left.
