There is a point of making oneself look less, for speaking derogatorily about
someone, which you might be trying to point out. Though to be honest it does
sound more like a troll trying to defend MS on a Linux list.

A _lot_ of people have less than favorable view of the Redmond behemoth. As
you know they have good reasons. Few companies have behaved so poorly in
almost all areas a company can. Oh sure they have done positive things, it's
just the negative have been soo negative to so many.

Bashing MS is a good honest thing to do. We don't want to be abused by them
and when they threaten us, we speak up.
