I'm running FF 1.5.x. For as long as I can remember, the Gecko engine
has suffered Down's Syndrome when it comes to rendering pages. Galeon
had a similar fate. That browser had basically the Tab Mix extension
built in and ran poorly, again Gecko under the hood.
Besides minimo, there's also Dillo (i18n version). Dillo is
rediculously fast, but it doesn't have all the bells and whistles. It
reminds me of Opera when it fit on a floppy :)
